The «Le Corsaire» performed by the Bashkir State Theatre of Opera and Ballet at the Bangkok’s 19th International Festival of Dance and Music was fresh and light just like it had been 170 years before when the premier of that wonderful show took place. However, the true success came to the author of the music – French composer Adolphe Adam only in Saint Petersburg where he worked for many years. Since then the «Le Corsaire» has been in the repertoire of many Russian theatres while the choreography of Yury Grigorovich is considered the best in the world.
Thai audience could appreciate that on September 17, 2017. Performances of Russian dancers who concluded there tour to Bangkok theatregoers the audience unanimously called a true triumph.
